Improving lives of families and children through environmental and public health education and research
Dr. Lori Hoepner, DrPH, MPH, Environmental Health Sciences and Maternal and Child Health Public Health Expert
Environmental factors influence the lives and health of every person on the planet from infancy through adulthood.
Dr. Hoepner’s mission is to enhance public health through early intervention informed by rigorous environmental, neurobiological, and medical scientific research, education and consultation.
The ability to live in a healthy environment is within our own control. Common exposures to chemicals such as plastics, pesticides, and pollution pose risks to our immune systems and make us more susceptible to emerging diseases like coronavirus. It is imperative that we address the public health need to reduce harmful chemicals in our environment. The power to do that lies within each of us.
